Bracelet, gold with orange and turquoise cylindrical beads. Closes with a bar clasp. Modern Egyptian in origin. This object was displayed at the ACCESS Main Gallery. Its label read "Above are examples of Berber enamel and silver jewelry from Morocco (the necklace, pin, and bracelet on the left) and of modern Egyptian jewelry which replicates ancient Pharaonic themes (the earrings, bracelet, and necklace on the right). Both are worn as bright costume jewelry in several Arab counties." |
