Wooden cookie mold: 8 1/2" long circular incisions in the middle and is 2 1/4" wide. These presses were used for making mammoul (or ma'amoul) a filled semolina flour-based cookie. Label text: This is used in shaping and imprinting a design on mammoul, traditionally a ground walnut-filled cookie. Made especially for the Eid and Easter holidays, mammoul can also be filled with pistachios and dates. |
