Rajie Cook's "Resolutions Ignored" (2013) Assemblage artwork with shredded paper and found objects. Appears on page 294 of his monograph, A Vision For My Father (2017). Caption reads, "The shredded papers in this assemblage are copies of actual UN resolutions deploring or condeming Israel's actions toward Palestinians. Israel is in noncompliance with all of them. In addition, since 1972 the United States has used its Security Council veto forty times to protect Israel from censure." |
