Description |
Relatively large, slightly crude, wrought iron house key to a home in Palestine. Many Palestinian families who fled or were forced out of their homes by the State of Israel, took the keys to their houses with them. Many believed they would be able to return after a short while. The key remains a powerful symbol of the Palestinian struggle to be recognized and return to their lands. |
