Description |
ab) pair of beaded shoes, made in Syria before 1923 whose exteriors are completely beaded, predominantly in cream translucent beads, with additions of translucent beads in green, red, black, blue, and orange. Each is soled with brown leather and have a dark brown leather ankle strap; they are trimmed with brown cotton piping along the inner edge and have a 2.25 inch heel. Six nail heads have worn through on the heel of right shoe, seven on the left. |
