Description |
United States passport issued to Elias Saleh, the donor's grandfather, on June 27th, 1923. The passport recognizes that he was accompanied by his wife Leah and four minor children: Charles, Josephine, Minera, and John. Elias, who had immigrated to 1895 and worked as a peddler in the American Southwest, returned to the US in 1905 with his wife and children where he settled permanently in Michigan; see provenance for more. |
