Description |
Ring, silver alloy. Thin filigree band, 1/8" in width. This piece was exhibited at the ACCESS Main Gallery. Its label read, "Here are four different styles of silver alloy rings worn in the early and mid parts of this century. From left to right, they include a coin ring from Yemen; a fine filigree piece, also from Yemen; a smaller filigree band; and a Syrian ring set with a large carnelian stone. Coins, stones, and filigree work are common on rings throughout the Arab world." |
