Certificate of Naturalization dated November 9,1936, received by the donor's mother, Emelia Hagopian, when she was 35 years old. Of note is Hagopian's prior citizenship listed as "Syrian," while her husband's, granted eight years earlier, was listed as "Turkey" indicative of changes in colonial rule and immigration law. The reverse of the paper has been stamped once by the Board of Election Commissioners on May 21, 1937 in the city of Cambridge. 10" x 8" |
